Due to the overpowering of Apple’s iPads, Android tablets are not so common these days. But some manufacturers are still trying to get into the game. Xiaomi has launched its Mi Pad 5. If you’re looking for a new tablet that looks similar to the iPad Pro, but a more affordable then this will be the best option for you now.
The company has introduced two versions- a regular and a Pro. Both versions will have an 11-inch display with 2560×1600 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The tablet will feature TrueTone display technology and will have support for Dolby Vision and HDR10. No need to worry about it being too dim because the company claims that it will have 500 nits in brightness. The tablet will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 860 and the Pro version will have Snapdragon 870 which will also have a Wi-Fi-only model and a 5G-enabled version. The regular Mi Pad 5 will have a 13MP camera on the back and the Pro will have a 13MP + 5MP camera combo.
Mi Pad 5 will have an 8,720mAh battery which will be 8,600mAH for the Pro model. It is expected to support 67W fast charging. The tablet will include an optional keyboard case accessory and a stylus. The regular model of Mi Pad 5 will cost $310 (INR 23,070), while the Pro version will have a price tag of $385 (INR 28,652), which is much lesser than that of the iPad Pro.
