Leaks mentioned that the Xiaomi 11T pro will have support for 120W fast charging. Xiaomi calls it HyperCharge. The company has now officially confirmed the feature mentioned in the leak with a teaser on Twitter that showcases its September 15 event. The Mi 11 had only half this charging support. The new Xiaomi 11T Pro will also have the same battery as Mi 11 at 5,000mAh. However, the company has not revealed anything about wireless charging in the new model.
The tweet underlines that the feature will be present only on the Xiaomi 11T Pro, so the vanilla T-phone will not have this feature. The earlier 11 had support for 55W fast charging over a wire and 50W when charged without a wire. The Mi 11X and 11X Pro had 33W fast charging support. Xiaomi had employed the 120W fast charging support on the Mi 10 Ultra and the Mix 4.
Other leaks mention that the Xiaomi 11T Pro will also have a Snapdragon 888 chipset similar to the original 11 Pro. But this is not confirmed by the company. The vanilla 11T is likely to change to a MediaTek Dimensity chip. It is also expected to have 120Hz displays similar to the earlier models.
There are mentions of leaked prices in the European market. But to know the official price tags we may have to wait till next Wednesday.
