Mercedes Benz-India has announced that it is opening a platform for selling pre-owned vehicles in a direct customer-to-customer method. The company said that it will add more benefits and provisions for buyers and sellers using this platform.
Mercedes Benz has engraved its name in the luxury car business for a long time now. They are one of the most trusted brands in this business and a new venture like this will only increase the customers’ trust. Mercedes Benz-India is hoping that the new platform will provide a better platform with more trust and efficiency to the customers who can be both buyers and sellers.
Martin Schwenk, MD & CEO Mercedes-Benz India, said, “Marketplace’s direct customer-to-customer model will provide sellers and buyers transparent, hassle-free and convenient platform to sell existing car and upgrade.”
He added, “With this initiative, we create a win-win scenario for customers and an opportunity for our franchise partners to scale-up their pre-owned and new car business by offering a luxury brand experience”.
He also said that Marketplace will provide new services and will attract more customers because of its efficiency and transparency which it aims to provide in the “entire luxury pre-owned car business”.
