LG G5 reportedly launching in India on May 23rd


Soon after unveiling the LG G5 flagship at the MWC in February, the company announced that the phone will be launched in India this quarter. Now according to a report, the G5 will be launched in the country on May 23rd. The phone’s pre orders will kick off on May 13th, and those who pre order the device will get the LG Cam Plus accessory for free. The publication claims that the G5 will be priced over Rs 50,000 in India.

The LG G5  is a semi-modular smartphone that lets to attach additional accessories called ‘Friends’ to enhance the experience. The phone offers a 5.3-inch quad HD IPS display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable memory, an 8MP selfie shooter, Android Marshmallow, 4G LTE, NFC, a USB Type C port, and a 2,800mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology. The device sports a dual rear camera setup   featuring one 16MP lens, and another 8MP lens. LG is expected to make an official announcement regarding the G5’s launch in a few days.
