Nintendo’s Indie World showcase delivered some interesting news yesterday. The sequel to Tom Happ’s 2015 Metroidvania, Axiom Verge 2 is now available for download. It can also be downloaded on PC through the Epic Games Store and on PlayStation 4 and Switch. In total, the total available Switch Indie games amount to six. The games include Boyfriend Dungeon and Garden Story. The Boyfriend Dungeon is a game where you can have romance and date the weapons on the adventure, while Garden Story is set in a world which is filled with anthropomorphic plants.
The showcase also announced some indie games which can be played later on the Switch. This includes Tetris Effect. Tetris Effect is said to be available on Nintendo’s portable console by the 8th of October. It will include both single-player and multiplayer options.
Other games include Eastward, which is a new action RPG from Stardew Valley publisher Chucklefish Games, and the Loop Hero. Loop Hero was available on PC and Mac earlier. The arrival on Switch is supposed to be by the end of this year. Nintendo has also announced a new game called Bomb Rush Cyberpunk. The exact date of availability on Switch has not been announced.
