Acer launched its Swift X laptop in the Indian market today, September 7. It will have the AMD Ryzen 5000 series processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics card. It will have an all-metal chassis. The laptop will weigh just 1.39kp and is 17.9mm thin. Acer claims 15-hour battery life on this laptop and mainly focuses on professionals, content editors, and streamers.
In India, the price for the Acer Swift X will start at Rs. 84,999. It will be made available through Acer Online Store and also on Flipkart, Acer Exclusive stores, Vijay Sales, and other authorized retail stores.
The main feature of the Acer Swift X is of course its AMD Ryzen 5 5600U mobile processor. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti laptop GPU comes along with 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM. It also features a 14-inch full-HD IPS display that has 100 percent sRGB coverage with 300 nits of peak brightness and an 85.7 percent screen-to-body ratio. The laptop allows storage of 16GB of RAM and up to 2TB of SSD storage. The ports present include a full-function USB Type-C port, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone/mic jack. It has Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, a fingerprint sensor for signing-in through Windows Hello, AI-enhanced noise suppression for video calls, and Acer BlueLightShield technology to reduce eyestrain.
The thermal performance of the laptop is enhanced by employing a fan of 59 blades and dual D6 copper heat pipes that increase cooling efficiency. It has an air inlet keyboard design that increases thermal performance by expelling 8-10 percent more heat compared to the one without an air inlet.
