ZTE will launch Blade A610 Plus with 5,000mAh battery on February 3

February 3 is turning out to be an important date for the India smartphone market. Yesterday, it was revealed that Oppo will launch its selfie-focused A57 camera phone in India on the said date. And now we have another brand lined up to release its new product on the same date. ZTE has sent out media invites for a launch event in New Delhi on February 3. It is likely that the company will unveil ZTE Blade A610 Plus during the event.

Having said that, it is important to mention here that ZTE has not revealed the name of the product to be launched during the event. But all guesses and the teaser attached with the media invite point towards the ZTE Blade A610 Plus, which was launched last year. The teaser shows the back of the device showing off the metal body design, a square shaped fingerprint scanner, and a LED flash placed below the camera lens.

The ZTE Blade A610 Plus sports a 5.5-inch 1080p display with 2.5D curved glass on top. Under the hood will have a MediaTek MT6750T octa-core SoC. It is paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal further expandable via microSD card.

On the imaging front, the ZTE Blade A610 Plus houses 13-megapixel rear camera with 1080p video recording capabilities and 8-megapixel selfie snapper. It runs Android 6.0 OS. The main highlight of the phone is its massive 5,000mAh that is said to last for about three days.

Connectivity options include GPS, HotSpot,Wifi,Bluetooth.

The official price of the ZTE Blade A610 Plus in India is not known, going by the latest trend, it should be available in the country at less than Rs 15,000.
