Xiaomi on Tuesday introduced a new limited edition MI Note smartphone called Mi Note Natural Bamboo Edition in China. As the name says back side of the panel is made of Bamboo.
According to Xiaomi, the Bamboo back is only 0.9mm thick and the overall weight of this limited edition is 5 grams less than the standard Mi Note. Specs are same as Mi Note, which comes with 5.7-inch full HD display, Snapdragon 801, 3GB RAM, dual-4G SIM card slots, 13MP f 2.0 rear camera with OIS and a 4MP front shooter.
Mi Note Natural Bamboo Edition has got a price-tag of 2299 yuan ($370) and will go on sale beginning March 24. The registrations for the first sale are now open in China. Not sure when it will launch in other markets as at this point as even the standard version is yet to reach anywhere outside China.
