HTC has launched a new Desire series smartphone called the Desire 628 Dual SIM. The phone has been listed on the company’s website in Vietnam in two colour schemes, white with purple and orange with black. However, there’s no word on its price and availability at the moment. The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with HTC’s Sense UI on top, and sports dual front-firing BoomSound speakers.
The HTC Desire 628 Dual SIM sports a 5-inch HD display, and is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core 64-bit Media Tek MT6753 processor, aided by 3GB of RAM. The phone comes with 32GB of internal memory, and accepts microSD cards up to 2TB in size. The camera department includes a 13-mega pixel rear snapper with an LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, and a BSI sensor. For selfies, it gets a 5-meg front shooter with a BSI sensor, f/2.4 aperture and a 75-degree wide-angle lens. Connectivity features include dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and A-GPS. A 2,200mAh battery completes the list of the specifications.
Earlier this month, HTC launched the Desire 830 earlier in China. Priced around Rs 20,500, the phone offers a 4-UltraPixel selfie shooter, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, a 5.5-inch FHD display, a MediaTek Helio X10 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 13MP rear camera, 4G LTE, and a 2,800mAh battery.
