Oppo Find 9 is the top end flagship from the manufacturer, which has been in development for two years. Rumours are beginning to circulate on  forums and websites about the hardware specifications and the release date.

The Oppo Find 9, will reportedly get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 system on a chip, 6GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage space and a 4K display. Those following the developments of the phone closely, have had to wait unusually long. The Find 7 was released in 2014, and there was no Find iteration in 2015. So this smartphone has been in the making for two years.

There were some images leaked in January this year, after which the hype around this flagship has been steadily increasing. At that time, the phone was rumoured to run Snapdragon 810 SoC and 4GB of RAM.

Users on Chinese forums who claim to have inside information claims the phone is scheduled for a June launch. However, there is no specific release date in the rumours or any official communication from Oppo.

Oppo just launched the F1 plus with a 16-mega pixel front facing camera targeted at selfie addicts in India. There are also plans to open a manufacturing plant in Noida. While the F1 and R series phones are listed on the site, there is no information put up yet for the Find 9.
