Do you mind having a smartphone with eyes? LG is bringing a unique feature to its smartphone, called AKA. The device has two animated eyes on the front that can express different moods. It comes in four color variants, each color has a name and character associated with it – Eggy (Yellow), Wooky (White), YoYo (Pink) and Soul (Black).

The eyes on the phone react to the user as a sort of notifications. The eye color changes from red to green to indicate different emotions. They get giddy when you shake the phone, look down when you need to take the phone out of the case (indicating that there is a notification) and show droopy eyes indicating the need for charging.

Apart from eyes, other features of the phone include a 5-inch full-HD 1020p display, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage which is expandable via microSD. The device has a 2,610mAh battery, an 8-megapixel rear and a 2.1-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC and GPS. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.

Lg has targeted the youth with this device. There is no information on the availability and pricing of the device, but in its home country, the device is priced at KRW 500,000 (approx. Rs 28,100).
