Lava introduces VoLTE Enabled A72, A76 and A89 smartphones

Lava has unveiled three new entry-level Android smartphones called the A72, A76 and A89. All of the new Lava offerings come with 4G LTE with VoLTE support and Android 5.1 Lollipop, and sport LED flash units for the front facing selfie cameras. The company has promised to upgrade the A72 and A89 to Android Marshmallow in the coming months.

The Lava A72, A76 and A89 share quite a few specifications. They are powered by 1.5GHz quad-core processors, aided by 1GB of RAM. They come with 5-megapixel primary snappers with LED flash, 8GB of expandable memory up to 32GB, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. All three devices also come with Smart Screen gestures, Flip to mute and a Video PIP mode that lets you access any app while watching videos.

Individually, the Lava A72 comes with a 5-inch display, a 5-mega pixel front shooter, and a 2,500mAh battery. The A76 sports a compact 4.5 inch display, a VGA front camera, and an 1,850mAh battery. The A89 on the other hand features a 5-inch screen, a 2MP selfie shooter, and a 2,000mAh battery.

The Lava A72 comes in White with Gold and Blue Black hues, while the A76 and A89 are being offered in Black and White variants. The A72, A76 and A89 are priced at Rs 6,499, Rs 5,699 and Rs 5,999 respectively. The first two will be available in the next few days, while the A89 will go on sale in the coming weeks.
