What if you could literally control your emotions with a push of a button. Thync launched their much anticipated mood altering headset. It’s a device that helps you reach a state of calmness or get a boost of energy via your smartphone.

According to their website, Thync says their product is simple and safe. The science behind how it works is that they are able to “safely and comfortably stimulate nerves on your head and face using low level electrical pulses to signal specific areas of the brain”

The developers of Thync have always been one step ahead of current technology. Its founders are engineering and neuroscience experts from ASU, Stanford, Harvard and MIT. They have utilized decades of research and extensive testing to ensure a safe and effective device that can be used by anyone.

CEO and co-founder Isy Goldwasser said, “We created Thync to help people better access the power of their mind. We believe that when you conquer your mind, you can conquer your day.” He has a point and this is not caffeine or a sleeping pill. Who wouldn’t want to reduce stress when overworked or re-energize when feeling tired by going through a quick 15-minute, chemical-free session.  With Thync, that dream can become a reality.

The device is controlled using an app which allows you to select modes and adjust the ultrasound’s intensity. During the short sessions, it activates areas of the brain that are already used naturally. The device itself contains a main unit that is smaller than the palm of an average hand. Users attach it to their temple and then connect it with a strip to another sensor on the back of their necks.

The only frustrating part about the Thync is that it wasn’t invented sooner.
