Intex Aqua Joy with Android OS, quad core CPU launched

Intex has launched its latest 3G budget smartphone under its Aqua series, which is named as Intex Aqua Joy. The smartphone is found listed on company’s official website for Rs 2,799. However, as of now there is no information on when it will be available in the market. The Intex Aqua Joy comes in two colours White and Black.

The Intex Aqua Joy features a 4-inch WVGA (480X800p) display with pixel density of 233. It is fueled by a 1.3 GHz quad-core ARM7 Cortex (SC7731C Spreadtrum Chipset) processor, which is clubbed with GPU Mali400 MP2, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and 32GB of expandable storage via MicroSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 lollipop operating system.

The Aqua Joy has a 1450mAh Li-ion battery, which claims to deliver up-to 4-5 hours of talk time and up to 140-160 hours of standby time. The device sports an 0.3-megapixel (VGA resolution) camera on the back as well as on front panel. Rear camera comes with an LED flash light. Beside, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 3G, WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 2.1, GPS/AGPS, a microUSB port, and G-Sensors.

The handset also comes with various pre-loaded apps, such as Matrabhasha, Online Software Update, i-store, Opera Mini, Gujarat Lions etc. The device measures 125 x 63.9 x 10.1 mm and weighs 110 grams.
