Huawei launches Ascend P7 in India for Rs 24,799

Huawei has launched Ascend P7, the selfie smartphone in India. The smartphone features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera to make it selfie smartphone. There is also a 13-megapixel rear shooter. Rest of the specifications include a 5-inch full HD 1080p display with a pixel density of 445ppi and the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The back of the device too is also covered by Gorilla Glass 3 to protect from daily wear and tear. It is powered by a 1.8GHz HiSilicon Krin 910T quad-core Cortex-A9 processor paired with Mali 450 GPU and 2GB of RAM.

Huawei Ascend P7 features 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB using microSD card. Connectivity options include LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC. The device gets the juice from 2,500mAh battery, which the company claims can offer up to 14 hours of talk time and 404 hours of standby mode. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat wrapped under the company’s latest version of the Emotion 2.3 user interface. The company has priced the device at Rs 24,799 in India.
