HTC launches One M9 Prime Camera Edition

HTC has made no noise while launching new variant of its flagship smartphone, One M9 in Europe. The HTC One M9 Prime Camera Edition is available on the company’s German site at a contract price of around EUR 22.70 (approximately Rs. 1,700) per month for a period of 24 months.

The device comes with an all-metal unibody design and the color variants are single-tone, Gunmetal Grey and Gold. Feature-wise, the One M9 Prime Camera Edition is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 clocked at 2.2GHz, 2GB of RAM and includes 16GB of built-in storage which is lower than in the One M9. Android 5.0 Lollipop runs the show paired with the company’s brand new Sense 7 UI on top. The One M9 supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 2TB). It retains the 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display seen on the One M9.

The device features a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS, dual-LED flash, and 4K video recording, along with 4-UltraPixel front-camera. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, Glonass, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, and LTE. The One M9 Prime Camera Edition packs a 2840mAh battery which is same as the One M9. The dimensions are 144.6×69.7×9.61mm and weighs 158 grams.
