Government To Launch ‘Twitter Seva’, A Helpline For Startups

Under the Startup India initiative, the Indian Government is set to launch ‘Twitter Seva’ on April 21st. It will be a helpline for the entrepreneurs and help them seek funding and other Government help like clearance and other issues.

Micro Blogging site Twitter will also collaborate with the Government on this.

The process will be handled by top officials of the ministry including the union minister for commerce and industry Nirmala Sitharaman who would manually scan the tweets and complaints and solve the issue.

Through the service, the entrepreneurs can present their ideas and the Government officials will also help them connect to venture capitalists, stakeholders and incubators.
