Google Maps lets you measure distances between multiple places

Google Maps for desktop has been updated with a new feature that will allow you to measure the distance to your destination. The users can find out the distance between multiple places by plotting their route on the map. This feature was previously available only under the experimental Google Labs options, but now its open to all.

To use the feature, right click on the map and select ‘Measure Distance.’ Now select a destination to see the distance between two points. If you want to add additional stops, turns or destinations, you can do that as well and find out the final distance. In case you have dropped a route, you can drag that as well and align it with actual roads for more accurate route measurement.
