Google is now rolling out a new feature for its Calendar app which will make it easier for users to schedule their busy days. The company announced “Find a time”, a feature which is specifically built for Google Apps for Work and Edu users. The update is now available on the Google Play Store. The update will arrive soon to iOS as well.

Google product manager Stella Schieffer wrote in a blog post, “With a single tap, “Find a time” helps you find meeting times that work for everyone, even if they’re in different time zones, based on their availability and the times they usually have meetings. If there are no times that work, Calendar will look at which conflicting meetings can most easily be rescheduled.” It has been designed specifically for organisations where sharing your calendar with colleagues is the norm, she added.

The new “Find a time” feature also makes suggestions and one can tap to see everyone’s schedule at a glance too. And if you manage someone else’s calendar, you can use the feature to schedule meetings on their behalf as well. The company aims to help people find time to work on personal goals during a hectic week.
