GIPHY, which most of you may know as one of the largest databases for finding GIFs, has finally made its way onto Android. Giphy  is actually already part of Twitter’s new GIF feature on their social network, allowing you to quickly search for a GIF and add it to your Tweet. But what if you could add GIFs to everything? Now you can. The app that launched on Android can help you find millions of GIFs to use on Google+ posts, Hangouts messages, and post just about everywhere. If you’re not a fan of GIFs, well get ready to see a whole lot more of them appear all over the web.

Lately, Giphy, as well as other companies like Twitter and Facebook, have been looking for ways to continue to expand and get users to use their services more. Giphy here has bene looking for ways to expand user-generated GIFs, and by doing that they debuted a GIF Maker app, back in October. They also rolled out the Giphy  Cam in November, which is currently iOS only but should be coming to Android in the near future. This is all an effort to grow their empire, and do it organically. So far it appears to be working. Giphy  is already one of the largest and most popular databases for GIFs, and it’s only going to keep growing.

You can send these GIFs that you find in Giphy  to your friends as text messages, or show them on posts on different social networks. You are also able to save these GIFs and use them in the future. Making it a lot more fun to use GIFs on your smartphone or tablet. All of your favourite GIFs are available here, including those from Drake, Rihanna, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan and so much more. You can download the Giphy  app from the Google Play Store. It’s a completely free app, and works with Android 4.0 and higher, which should make it available to most people that use Android.
