To put an end to the frustrations of some the Xiaomi consumers, the company will resume its sale on the Indian e-commerce site Flipkart at 2PM today. The company has announced that 20,000 units of the smartphone will go on sale. But this will not satisfy all the 100,000 customers, who have already registered for it. This happens to be the fourth round of sale of the device. The first sale lasted for about 40 minutes, the next two sales have wrapped up in five seconds and two seconds respectively. Today’s sale is going to be nothing different from this. Xiaomi’s Hugo Barra had remarked that the company underestimated the demand for Mi 3 in India.

Mi 3 has a unibody design and boasts premium build materials like aluminum. It features a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with a full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display that translates into a pixel density of 441ppi. It has 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There is a 13-megapixel camera with autofocus and dual-LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Other features are a non-removable 3,050mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat wrapped under Xiaomi’s MIUI version 5 UI. The Xiaomi Mi 3 is priced at Rs 13,999.
