Dubai is busy with its latest project to astonish the people around the world. The project named “Mall of the World,” will be the world’s first temperature-controlled city. Dubai has harsh desert climate and the temperature averages 104 degrees Farenheit in the summer. This mall will come as a relief in such extreme weather conditions.

The complex will include 20,000 hotel rooms, which counts to around 100 hotels and apartment complexes, the world’s largest indoor theme park, an 8-million square foot mall and a 3-million square foot “wellness district,” with doctors and inpatient facilities for medical tourists. It will also include cultural district with theatres built around New York’s Broadway, The Celebration Walk, similar to the Ramblas Street in Barcelona and shopping streets based on London’s Oxford Street. There will also be Dubai’s largest celebration centre accommodating 15,000 revelers and parking areas with a capacity to host up to 50,000 cars on the ground level.

The project is developed by Dubai Holding. On completion, the city is expected to host around 180 million visitors annually. The tourists will be able to enjoy a week-long stay without the need to leave the City or use a car. The 7km long promenades connecting all facilities will be covered during the summer and open during the winter, ensuring pleasant temperatures throughout the year.

“The objective is to create an integrated city with a plethora of best-in-class options within pleasant environments,” said United Arab Emirates Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in a statement.

The budget or deadline for this ambitious project is yet to be announced. Dubai, which is already home for world’s several wonder destinations, can be the only to bring this project to completion without any hassle.
