The rumors turned out true, Apple has released the 8GB version of iPhone 5c. The trimmed down device priced at £429 (Rs 36,420) appears on the official sites of various European regions, including the UK and France. Apple is expected to launch the device globally and hence will come to India soon. Apart from the reduced storage other specifications of the device remains the same. iPhone 5c has not been doing well, so this still cheaper version might gain some selling point.

Along with releasing the 8GB iPhone 5c, Apple has decided to discontinue iPad 2 and brought back the iPad 4 with Retina display. When the company launched iPad Air, it had stopped sales of the iPad 4. The iPad 4 is now available in Apple store.
