Acer launches Liquid Zest Plus smartphone with 5,000 mAh battery

Chinese smartphone maker Acer unveiled its latest handset Liquid Zest Plus at an event in New York. The company has priced the device at $250 and it will be available in Pure White and Metallic Blue colour options. The smartphone will soon go on sale in the Asian markets.

On the specifications front, the Acer Liquid Zest Plus features a 5.5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. The handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3GHz.

It offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded further up to microSD card. The handset sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing snapper for selfies. The smartphone comes equipped with DTS HD sound and packs a massive 5,000 mAh battery with Quick Charge support. The connectivity options of the device include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

Recently, Acer has expanded its Liquid series with the launch of Acer Liquid M330. The company has priced the handset at $99.99 and it will be available at the Microsoft Stores. Acer Liquid M330 features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with 854×480 pixels resolution. The device runs on Windows 10 Mobile operating system and is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor.
